The October edition of the CrunchBase monthly export is now available. This month’s snapshot of the CrunchBase dataset includes 82k+ funding rounds, just for you.
As we have been rolling out new product features on the site, the data has continued to roll in from the community.
The CrunchBase dataset now contains nearly 660k profiles, and almost 80k people have contributed this year alone. By downloading this month’s export, you can reap the rewards of all our your hard work.
Highlights of the October 2014 Export include:
- 500 Startups tops all investors in 2014 with 152 investments. With nearly 700 investments in 565 startups in CrunchBase, it might be time for a new name, guys.
- Seattle surpassed 200+ funding rounds for the year with well over $1.2B in venture funding.
- Advertising startups have already raised 173 funding rounds YTD, including 22 in New York City.
- Real Estate investments have continued their hot streak in 2014 with 137 rounds – more than Apps, Medical and Saas.
The CrunchBase dataset continues to grow at a record pace thanks to our community of contributors and members of the CrunchBase Venture Program. Today’s monthly export includes all venture-funded companies.
