Before joining Menlo he was CTO and Head of Product & Engineering at Splunk, the leader in security and logs analytics and prior to that, was VP of Engineering at Yahoo! In charge of all media products including Yahoo.com, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Sports/Fantasy and much more.  He continues to code daily and is proud that his GitHub is completely green. Tim holds an MS from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s from University of California, Davis.

Janelle Teng

Partner, Bessemer Venture Partners
Janelle Teng is a partner at Bessemer where she focuses primarily on early-stage investments in AI/ML apps, data infrastructure, developer platforms, and defense tech. She specializes in applied AI and is passionate about supporting highly technical teams and founders from research backgrounds. Currently, Janelle serves as a board director or observer for Claroty, Coactive, Moonvalley, Render, TurbineOne, and Virtru. Janelle developed many of Bessemer’s AI infrastructure, data tooling, and defense tech frameworks. Janelle holds a B.A. in human biology and economics from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Itay Sagie

Itay Sagie is a strategic advisor to technology companies on mergers and acquisitions and serves as a Senior Advisor at Silicon Valley–based Allied Advisers, which focuses on mid-market enterprise SaaS transactions. His background spans biotech research at MIT, an MBA from IESE Business School, venture capital, and entrepreneurial exits, which ultimately led him into investment banking and strategic advisory roles. In addition, Itay advises select companies on growth and strategy through Sagie Capital.
