In January, we added over 3.6k funding rounds in CrunchBase to reach 57.8k overall. We also added over 22k profiles last month to close in on the 500k milestone. Highlights of the January 2014 Export include:
- 126 Software startups received funding in January 2014 with over $1B invested
- Most active investors for the month: Accel Partners, Kleiner Perkins, Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, 500 Startups, Index Ventures and Insight Venture Partners
- 54 venture funding rounds in Great Britain
