Crunchbase Pro search map

1: Select the profile type you’d like to search from the left search panel

Dive into companies, people, investors, funding rounds, acquisitions, schools, or events.
Here’s more on how to build a search.

2: Add filters

Apply search filters to your search by clicking here. A search filter will vary depending on profile type and range from funding rounds, categories, to founders.

3: Run a search

Click search when you are done selecting your filters.

4: Hide filters

Toggle between showing and hiding your filters for easy viewing of search results.

5: Save a search or list

Monitor, share, and discover companies, investors, and people by clicking here to save your searches or lists. If you’ve already saved the search or list, remember to click save in order to save your changes.

6: Export to CSV

Click this button if you want to export your search results to a CSV file. You can open CSV files in Excel or your program of choice.

7: Get help

8: Account Information

Access your account settings here to update your password, email address, and to manage your Crunchbase Pro account(s).

9: See statistics

Statistics automatically perform statistical analysis on your search results or lists. When clicked, statistics will appear at the bottom of the page with various calculations (total, min, max, average, median). You can learn more here.

10: Add or remove columns

Customize the columns you would like to see here. Learn how to modify columns to personalize the data displayed to you.

11: See timeline view

Timeline is a different view of your data. It includes all relevant news and activities of the entities listed in your search or list. Whenever you’d like to go back to a regular view, simply unselect Timeline.

12: Drill-ins

Discover why a company is listed in a search by using drill-ins. Here are some examples of how to use drill-ins to learn more from your search results.

13: Crunchbase Rank and Trend Score

Quickly see a company, investor, or person’s influence by skimming their Crunchbase Rank and Trend Score. See how Crunchbase Rank and Trend Score are calculated and can help you prioritize by reading more here.

14: Select profiles to add to a list

Check a box next to any entity in order to add it to a list.

15: Add to list

After selecting the companies, people, or investors you’d like to move to a list, click the add to list button to move them into to your desired list.

16: Saved searches, saved lists, featured lists

Any searches and lists you choose to save and that you create will be stored in the saved search and saved lists sections, respectively. Look through our curated featured lists and get inspired with searches or lists to create.

17: Clear filters

Want to start your search over? Clear all filters here to reset your search.

18: Use the top search bar

Use the top search bar to look up a specific company, investor, or person by name to find their Crunchbase profile. For advanced search, use the left search panel.
